Mean Green Junk Removal has been hauling junk across North Texas since 2020. We’re a veteran-founded, Christian-owned, family business, and we’ve grown from a single truck during COVID to a team of 16 employees and 6 trucks, without ever losing sight of why we started.
How We Got Started
Mean Green began in 2020, when Tom, a retired Army pilot waiting on a job offer from American Airlines, started the company with his wife, Christina. I’m Trevan Fenner, and I came on as the very first employee.
Over the next two years, we built the business up to 7 employees and 3 trucks. But things didn’t go the way we planned, and the company started going under. I believed in what we were building so much that I worked without pay for three months trying to keep it alive. When that wasn’t enough, I made the decision to buy the brand myself, drop out of college, and take out a loan from my parents to give it a real shot at survival.
I called up old baseball teammates and friends I trusted and asked them to help me rebuild Mean Green from the ground up. It hasn’t been a straight line since; there have been plenty of ups and downs along the way, but we’ve pushed forward year after year. We started with 400 Google reviews. Today we have more than 1,600, and we’re still growing.

Our mission is to serve the DFW community with honesty, hard work, and genuine care, hauling away the clutter and treating every customer like family. We move with integrity in everything we do. Guided by our faith, we believe in doing the job right and treating people the way we’d want to be treated.
